Why Sensu?

There are a ton of cool painting and drawing apps in the iOS and Android stores. Some of them deliver incredibly realistic renderings of painting surfaces and different types of paint. Oil paint really looks like oil paint. You can see the water flowing on screen as you paint in virtual watercolor.

With all this magic available at our fingertips, we became pretty dissatisfied with painting with our fingertips. Other styli on the market always came up short for us. We created Sensu to deliver a more realistic painting experience on capacitive devices. We've designed fine artist brushes for decades and are familiar with the subtleties of touch, the "feel" of a brush touching a surface. Sensu has a real responsiveness like the best artist brushes. It dances across the screen giving a more true feeling that you're really painting.
